Maintaining our critical Township infrastructure is a top priority for Commissioner Verdes. Shortly after his appointment to the board, he volunteered to serve on the stormwater committee. The committee manages essential stormwater projects that will help prevent flooding and reduce pollution flowing into Nancy Run, Monocacy Creek, and the Lehigh River. As a member of the committee, he works with our township officials to ensure our stormwater projects are managed properly and he advocates to obtain the crucial funding needed to complete this important work. Commissioner Verdes is also working with other members of the board to find ways to responsibly increase the annual amount of funding set aside for road paving and repair.
